MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is a national level management entrance exam conducted by All India Management Association for Admission into MBA, PGDM or other Business related Course. This exam is conducted four times in a year each in February, May, September and December.

This is conducted in both modes offline (paper based test) and online (computer based test), candidates can choose any mode as per their preference.

MAT Exam score is accepted in more than 600 B-Schools in India as the gateway to MBA or PGDM Admission. MAT is an easier entrance test as compared to other MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT, and others. It has time duration of 2½ hours; the test paper is divided in 5 sections with 40 questions in each section, and the sections are Language Comprehension, Mathematical skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Indian and Global Environment.

MBA Colleges accepting MAT scores have their own admission and selection process which generally includes Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI).
