SIU has divided SNAP Reservation into two parts. It is given below in brief:
Within Sanctioned Limit
- 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates.
- For ST candidates, 7.5% of seats are reserved.
- 3% seats are reserved for Differently Abled (DA) candidates.

Note: All candidates claiming admission under DAC will be provisionally admitted under the said category. Thereafter, a candidate will be required to obtain an ‘Authentication Certificate’ from Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) within one month of commencement of the program. SCHC will check the validity of documents produced by the candidates and verify the continued existence and extent of the disability.

Candidates applying under any of the reserved categories (SC/ ST/ Differently Abled/ Kashmiri Migrants) must submit a relevant document issued by the competent authority.
Participation at any stage of the admission process by such a candidate is purely provisional and always subject to verification and authentication of such relevant document.
In case a candidate falls under more than one of the above categories (eg. Scheduled Caste as well as Differently Abled or any other combination), he must select any one Category (i.e. Either Scheduled Caste OR Differently Abled in the case of example mentioned above) at the time of filling up SNAP registration form.
The category selected by the candidate at the time of registration will be considered to be his category for the entire admission process and his benefits and entitlements shall be according to such selected category. He will not be able to claim benefit under the other category/s at any stage of admission on any account whatsoever.

Documents required at the time of SNAP Counselling
- SNAP 2020 Score Card
- PwD certificate and later candidates belonging to this category will have to obtain an ‘Authentication Certificate’ from the Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) within the 1 month of commencement of the MBA Degree Program.
- Mark-sheets of the latest education qualification.
- NRI Candidates will have to show the mark-sheets of any of the two qualifying examinations from any country outside India.
- Candidates belonging to OCI category will have to show OCI Card.
- Candidates belonging to PIO category will have to show PIO Card.
- Foreign candidates will have to produce a foreign passport at the time of SNAP 2020 counseling.
- The international candidates are required to produce an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Yes, under the UGC 2006 guidelines, there is a Symbiosis Entrance Exam reservation criteria for students applying for any program at Symbiosis International University: Scheduled Caste (SC): 15% Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5% Differently Abled: 3% Defence Personnel: 5 % for SLS-Pune, SICSR Kashmiri migrants and Kashmiri Pandits/ Kashmiri Hindu families living in Kashmir (Non- Migrants): 2 seats per programme International Candidates: 15% Candidates applying under these categories would be required to submit the supporting documents during the Personal Interview – Writing Aptitude Test ( PI-WAT) round.
