Basic Eligibility: No minimum percentage required to apply for this.
Mode of Exam: It is held in both online and offline modes on different dates.
Difficulty Level: It is easier than CAT though the syllabus remains same for both the exams, with an additional section of General knowledge. Conducting Body: It is organized by AIMA.
Periodicity of Exam: It is conducted 4 times a year.
Institutes: It is accepted by Tier II institutes and B-Schools.
Conditions for Application
- Graduation in any discipline or an equivalent recognized degree
- Final year students can apply on provisional basis.
- Prior work experience is not compulsory.
- No restriction of limit on age.
- No restriction on the number of attempts.

- The fee for this Exam can be paid through Credit card/debit card, net banking, demand draft or cash payment.
- Candidate can opt for both the tests i.e. PBT and CBT by paying an extra fees of Rs. 1100/- in addition to Rs. 1550/-.
- There is no fee concession for the reserved category.

- The syllabus contains questions of graduation level. It is designed to test a candidate’s General Aptitude.
- Syllabus is divided into 5 sections- Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Sufficiency and Indian and Global Environment.
For Mathematical Skills: Geometry, Arithmetic Progression, Installment Payments, Ratios and Proportions, Arithmetic Mean, Logarithm, Work and Time are the prescribed syllabus.
For Data Analysis and Sufficiency: Graphs, Column Graphs, Bar Graphs, Line Charts, Pie Charts, Graphs representing Area, Venn Diagram.
For Intelligence and Critical Reasoning: Critical Reasoning, Visual Reasoning, Assumption-Premise-Conclusion, Assertion and reasons, Assertion and reasons, Matrix arrangements, Coding and Decoding.
Language Comprehension: Verbal Reasoning, Syllogisms, Contextual usage, Analogies, Sentence completion, Idioms, Sentence Correction.
