What are the differences between CAT and M.A.T exam?

- Basic Eligibility- While a candidate must secure 50% marks in Graduation to apply for CAT, there is no minimum percentage required to apply for M.A.T.
- Mode of Exam- CAT is conducted online, while M.A.T is held in both online and offline modes on different dates.
- Difficulty Level- Trends reveal that CAT is much tougher that M.A.T, though the syllabus remains same for both the exams, with an additional section of General knowledge in M.A.T.
- Conducting Body- CAT is conducted by an IIM on a rotational basis, while M.A.T is organized by AIMA.

- A new page will be opened on the screen.
- Enter any two details- Application Number, Date of Birth and Name.
- Click on “Submit” button.
- The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates are suggested to take printout of the admit card for further use.
Management Aptitude Test eligibility:

- The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years or equivalent, in any discipline; Final year graduates can also apply.
- Alternatively, the candidate must have obtained a professional degree like CA/CS/ICWA
- The percentage of the marks obtained shall be calculated on the basis of the practice followed by the Candidate’s University/Institution
- In case of the Grading/CGPA System, the conversion to the percentage of marks obtained shall be calculated on the basis of the practice followed by the Candidate’s University/Institution, in accordance with the participating Management Institute’s eligibility criteria

M.A.T exam dates:

M.A.T is conducted four times a year—in February, May, September, and December. The paper-based M.A.T is usually conducted on the first Sunday of the month that M.A.T is conducted in, which are February, May, September, and December, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The computer-based M.A.T is conducted the following Saturday onward.
