IMT Hyderabad Admission 2023 Updates

IMT Hyderabad PGDMapplications will start with the onset of CAT Registration. CAT 2023 registration will start from August 2, 2023 and exam is scheduled for November 26, 2023. CAT 2023 registration fee for all the categories has increased.

For general category the fees has been increased to ₹2,400 from ₹2,300 till last year. For SC, ST and PwD candidates, the fee has increased to ₹1200 from last year’s ₹1150.

IMT Hyderabad PGDM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed a degree in any discipline with at least 50% of the overall grade. Final-year candidates in their undergraduate degrees are also eligible to apply for the program.

IMT Hyderabad PGDM Selection Criteria

  • Candidates are shortlisted based on CAT/ XAT/ CMAT test scores.
  • Shortlisted candidates are required to share a 1-minute video introducing themselves and their background, career goals, etc.
  • Candidates also need to submit a 300 word SOP and Profile Details form.
  • Short-listed students need to appear for a Personal Interview Online with 23 panelists.
  • In the online interview, candidates are assessed on communication / social skills, analytical/ problem-solving skills, business affairs, and general skills.
  • Work experience is also seen as an important selection criterion in the PGDM degree program.

IMT Hyderabad FPM Selection Criteria 

Candidates applying for FPM at IMT Hyderabad should have a valid test result in the CAT/GRE/UGC NET/GATE exam. Candidates are also required to submit a research proposal consisting of 5000 words in the area with the application form.
