What is About Common Admission Test?
Common Admission Test or C.A.T is a national-level management exam, conducted by one of the IIM’s on a rotational basis. It is a gateway to all 20 IIMs and other top B-schools in India. More than 2 lack candidates are expected to appear for C.A.T Exam. For this year, IIM Calcutta will conduct the exam and few changes are expected to be made in the paper pattern. C.A.T tests a candidate’s Quantitative, Verbal/reading, Data Interpretation and Reasoning Skills. The paper has 100 MCQ & Non-MCQ questions that are to be completed in 3 hours. As per the analysis for C.A.T by the Ace1Guru team, DILR is expected to be toughest, VARC to be moderate and QA should be the easiest. An attempt of total 63-67 will be considered good. C.A.T has a success rate of 1 in 200.
IIM Calcutta will release C.A.T Answer Keys in the first week of December. Along with the keys, question papers with solutions will also be published at www.iimcat.ac.in. As per the experts and aspirants, Quants section was the toughest as compared to the others.
