International Management Institute (IMI) is India’s first corporate sponsored Business School founded in 1981 with the original campus in New Delhi. The corporate sponsors included RPG Enterprises (lead sponsor), ITC, Nestle, Tata Chemicals, British Oxygen, SAIL, and Williamson Magor. It was set up in collaboration with the then IMI Geneva, now IMD Lausanne.

Subsequently two other campuses were set up in Kolkata (2010) and Bhubaneswar (2011). Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the MBA program offered by the International Management Institute (IMI) in Delhi are as follows:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in their Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  2. Entrance Exam: Candidates must have a valid score in at least one of the following management entrance exams: CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT or MAT.
  3. Work Experience: Candidates with work experience of two years or more after graduation will be given preference.
  4. Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the MBA program.

Admission in IMI

In shortlisting the candidates, the Institute not only views the ranking of the nationwide level entrance examination but there are additional aspects also which are taken into account.

  • Candidates subsidized by a PSU or Business House will be elevated to your shortlist on the foundation of details offered in the approval and the suggestions of the supporting organization.
  • Based on the above shortlisting, candidates will be known as for a Personal Interview to evaluate their relevance for the Program. Interviews will be tentatively kept in November/December every year. Foreign students’ Skype interview may be performed.
  • Experience certificate, certified copy of GMAT / CAT / XAT scorecard and Sponsorship letter (if applicable) would be needed to be submitted, at the time of the interview, where applicable.
