  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification level under 10+2+3 scheme in any of the following stream: A., B.Sc.,B.Com, B.Tech.
  • Final year students can also apply for the entrance
  • A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation or any equivalent degree.
  • The percentage criterion may vary for various B-School ,Institutes or Universities.
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation can show their last semester scores.

Nationality: All Candidates belonging to Indian nationality are eligible to apply for the exam i.e. only citizens of India can apply for the exam.
Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years. There is no upper age restriction for applying for the exam.

  • It follows no reservation rules defined by AIMS.
  • No concession in fees for the SC/ST or general category students.

  • The participating institutes might have their own reservation standards, in this case, candidates need to write about the category in exam Application Form.
  • No subsequent application to claim reserved seats will be entertained later.

  • Candidates belonging to Backward Class categories will be required to submit:

  1. The candidate has to pay INR 1100 + 18% GST (INR 1298) as registration fee.
  2. The fee can be remitted via online mode only viz. debit/credit card/ net banking/ CSC e-wallet.
  3. Registration fee once paid, is not refundable or transferable to other tests under any circumstances

Exam with 5 Attempts in a Year:

There are five exams conducted in the year 2022 in the months of January, February, May, June and August. It offers an opportunity to improve your score.

Exam with Moderate Difficulty:

The exams are expected to have a moderate difficulty level as per the past trends.Test consists of 180 questions divided in 6 sections to be solved in 3 hours. The exam will consist of three main topics, divided in to six sections. Candidates will have to attempt 180 questions in 180 minutes. Here’s a detailed look at the syllabus:

Sections of exam paper:

Analytical Reasoning Skills: This section of the paper analyses the logical thinking capacity of candidates. Candidates must make sure that they strengthen their capability of analyzing situations, only then will they be able to select the correct answer. Having the correct approach and right frame of mind will help a candidate extensively in finding the answer to the questions.

Quantitative Skills: In order to excel in this section, candidates will have to practice on a regular basis. Questions related to probability, percentages, time and work, permutation and combination, coordinate geometry, average, profit and loss, ratio and proportion variations, interest, geometry, inequalities, time speed and distance, progression, algorithm, set theory, quadratic equation, and functions are frequently asked in the exam.

Verbal skills: This is a section which evaluates the English skills of a candidate. Candidates an expect questions based on sentence completion, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and sentence correction, to name but a few.

Exam Pattern: The Test contains 190 Questions spread over six sections. Each section in the Online Test need not be attempted in the serial order. Total time of the Test is 3 hours. The questions cover Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal skills.

Marking Scheme
For each correct or best answer, you will get a score of one. For any question not answered, a zero score will be given. A negative score will be given for a wrong or incorrect answer. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 point will be deducted. Thus, for four incorrectly answered questions, one mark will be subtracted from the total score.
