CAT Eligibility for M.B.A 2022
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons With Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of the Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. Candidates applying for CAT 2022 should fulfill any one of the following conditions:

NORMALIZATION OF CAT SCORES IN 2022
CAT 2020 shall be conducted in two sessions. Two different Test Forms shall be administered in two Test Sessions. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra has confirmed that clarified 20% institute level seats can be offered through Management Quota. The instructions issued by DTE for M.B.A admission through Management quota seats or Institute level seats are that the Director/Principal of the respective Un-aided Management institute shall invite applications for the seats available by giving publicity in at least two newspapers and on the website of the Institute.
Information brochure/prospectus of the Institute, which specifies rules of admission, should be published well before the commencement of the process of admission for the Institute Level/Minority Seats. All the information in the brochures should also be displayed on the Institute’s website for M.B.A admission through Management quota seats.
M.B.A aspiring candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall apply directly to the Director/Principal of the respective institute for admission. Similar admission opportunities also exist in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and other States.

M.B.A admission to NRI/PIO/Foreign National candidates
M.B.A admission for NRI candidates without entrance exam or M.B.A admission for Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) candidates may be possible in many M.B.A colleges.
